I'm watching it now, and you are amazing. <3 your facial expressions are hilarious and you have the most gorgeous voice ever. Thanks so much for letting us know about this live stream! I'm loving the whole production...and the guy playing Figaro is really cute ;)

^^ oops! meant to say, the guy playing *Antonio* was incredibly cute. (but of course, all of the singers were fantastic.)

anyway...wishing I was in Belgium right now and could see this opera again and again. :)

Dear Caelen - thanks for watching - and I've heard that the videos will be up again online next weekend if you didn't get enough.

And as for all the cute baritones, I'm not sure who you were talking about, because when you sent in the first comment, it was actually before Antonio (the gardener's) first entrance. I know, because I looked at my phone after I jumped out the window, and when I saw the comment, I walked into the Figaro's dressing room and told him about it. :) And I remember that it was before his entrance in the Act II finale, because we were chatting and I said "don't you have to go to stage now??" and he did - and his entrance is before Antonio's first entrance. So it remains a mystery - WHO did you think was super cute??? :)

hmm...I just replied and I think the internet ate it. Anyway, Antonio was indeed the super-cute one, though you're right about the timing. I always google the casts of operas before I go to see them (yes I know, I'm a nerd :p ) and your delightful Mr. Thirion has clips from a recital on youtube. :)

I think I had Figaro on the brain because...it's in the title? Or perhaps because my roommate and I were hosting an opera-watching party and every girl in our living room was swooning over him. :p

How fun! I love the jump out of the window! Thanks for sharing - I'll be subscribing to your adventures! Who knows, one day maybe I can understudy for you! (looking into European gigs...)
